Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Workforce Capacity Forecasting Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining forecasting models that support workforce planning and resource optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, experience in workforce analytics, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to business leaders.
**Responsibilities** :
+ Develop and maintain statistical forecasting models to support workforce capacity planning.
+ Create and manage dashboards using Power BI to visualize workforce metrics and trends.
+ Perform advanced data analysis using Excel, including macros and pivot tables.
+ Utilize SQL to query and manipulate data for reporting and modeling purposes.
+ Conduct time series analysis to identify patterns and inform resource planning.
+ Collaborate with business leaders to present capacity plans and recommendations.
+ Build and refine workforce analytics frameworks to support strategic decision-making.
+ Model resource optimization scenarios to improve operational efficiency.
+ Manage stakeholder relationships at the AVP level and ensure alignment with business goals.
**Required Skills/Experience** :
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
+ Four to five years of statistical and/or data analytics experience
+ Capacity planning or demand forecasting
+ Workforce analytics and metrics development
+ Resource optimization modeling
+ Time series analysis
+ Power BI development and dashboard creation
+ Statistical forecasting and predictive modeling
+ Advanced Excel functions (macros, pivot tables)
+ SQL and data querying experience
+ Experience presenting to executive/business leaders
+ Stakeholder management at AVP level
+ Strong communication skills, especially when presenting capacity plans to business lines
+ Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset
+ Self-starter who can work independently
+ Comfortable working with ambiguity in data
**Preferred skill/experience** :
+ Python or R for statistical analysis
+ Experience with workforce management systems
+ Understanding of business operations
Location Expectations
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
**Location Requirement:** Candidates must reside in or near Cincinnati, Ohio, Gresham, OR, Fargo, ND, Irving, TX , Saint Paul, MN, or Tempe, AZ.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $81,600.00 - $96,000.00
