    Role Overview

     

    As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist II, you’ll play a critical role in delivering timely and accurate diagnostic testing to support high-quality patient care. You’ll also assist in training, orientation, and competency evaluation of testing personnel, helping strengthen lab operations while ensuring compliance and precision.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform diagnostic testing and quality control procedures

    + Prepare reagents and report results per policy

    + Conduct moderate to high complexity testing with accuracy and efficiency

    + Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and computer applications

    + Assist with training and evaluation of testing personnel

    + Deliver excellent customer service and communication

    + Demonstrate strong organizational, critical thinking, and time management skills

    + Perform other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    •Certification & Licensure

    + **Required:** Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License

    + **Preferred:** ASCP Certification

    •Education

    + **Required:** Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or related field

    + **Preferred:** Bachelor’s degree

    •Experience

    + **Required:** 2 years of laboratory-related experience
