    At Batteries Plus, our people are what power us. As an Associate Merchandise Planner, you'll play a key role in ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time. You'll use data-driven insights to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and partner with cross-functional teams to support sales growth and profitability.

    What You'll Do

    + Develop forecasts using management tools and demand methodologies to support company objectives.

    + Plan and manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) budgets based on historical performance, recurring purchases, and current inventory.

    + Monitor inventory levels and KPIs, making adjustments to sales, markup, and markdown plans as needed.

    + Analyze stock-to-sales ratios and respond quickly to changing sales trends.

    + Collaborate with supply chain and distribution teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.

    + Allocate merchandise to stores based on inventory levels and support transfers to balance stock.

    + Build pre-season style plans, flow forecasts, and investment recommendations.

    + Partner with business leaders to develop business plans, assess risks, and recommend forward-looking strategies.

    What Powers You

    + Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Retail, or Merchandising (required).

    + At least 1 year of retail, merchandise planning, or inventory planning experience (preferred).

    + Advanced Excel proficiency (statistical analysis a plus).

    + Familiarity with forecasting tools or systems.

    + Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

    + Excellent communication and presentation skills.

    + Ability to handle confidential financial/product information with discretion.
