    About the Role:

    This position is a full-time, stationary role located in Rocky Mount, NC, supporting the Honeywell Aerospace account. As a CBRE HVAC Engineer, you'll be working a Monday-Friday, first-shift schedule. The core responsibilities involve proactive preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance, as well as addressing corrective repairs for buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds. Your technical expertise will be crucial in maintaining both operational efficiency and a safe working environment.

     

    This role falls under the Engineering and Technical Services function, highlighting the importance of your contribution to the support and upkeep of various systems and equipment. Responsible for maintaining and repairing critical infrastructure to improve facility efficiency through proactive maintenance and timely repairs.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Lead maintenance and repairs for mechanical, industrial, plumbing, structural, life safety, and control systems.

    + Review work orders, estimate resource needs, and maintain necessary supplies and tools.

    + Develop and execute programs to extend the lifespan of building systems and handle all repairs and emergency maintenance.

    + Review inspections to guarantee equipment operates within design parameters and adheres to client-specified environmental conditions.

    + Ensure adherence to all codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and safety.

    + Apply in-depth technical knowledge to solve complex issues and provide innovative solutions.

    + Mentor others, share expertise, and build consensus to achieve agreements.

    + Influence a range of activities, work within established guidelines, and explain complex information.

    What You’ll Need:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent experience, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Universal CFC certification and Valid Driver’s license required. Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.

    + Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

    + Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.

    + Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.

    + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

    + Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive approach.
