Responsibilities

Lead the clinical research team in the administrative and financial management of sponsored clinical research.

+ Oversee administrative start-up of all aspects of the clinical research studies. Develop and negotiate project budget with research sponsor.

+ Track clinical study activities performed, revenue accrued, invoicing, collections, payments received and expenses paid.

+ Participate in development and evaluation of program policies and procedures and facilitates legal review.

+ Assure proposed clinical research study protocols are in compliance with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations through review and approval by the Institutional Review Board (IRB).

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

+ Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

+ Certification specializing in Research Professional credentialed from the Certified Institutional Review Board Professional (CIP) preferred.

Education:

+ Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

+ Registered Nurse with research experience preferred
