Clean Harbors in **Elgin, IL** is looking for a **Material Handler** to complete all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner.

We are looking for a Material Handler to participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Material Handler responsibilities include part kitting, pulling parts, pulling kits, packing, inventory and shipping and receiving. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Pay is based on experience $22-25 an hour.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)

+ Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)

+ Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits

+ Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization

+ Report any discrepancies

+ Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers

+ Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment

+ Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

+ Pulling parts along with kitting parts for the production team.

+ Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and always acting in a safe manner

Qualifications

+ Attention to detail

+ Follow specific instructions

+ Work with minimal supervision at times

+ Basic computer skills

+ Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions

+ Perform physical functions per job requirements

+ Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Forklift experience

+ Previous relevant experience

+ Experience with waste labels, manifests, and load sheets
