    Job Description:

    This position is for a Stock Room/Material Handler who is under general supervision. Responsible for locating and preparing avionics equipment for delivery. Other tasks include warehouse inventory and interaction with other company employees and teams.

     

    This position is located at the Wichita Service Center in Wichita, KS and is required to be onsite.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    + Works under general supervision to provide satisfactory and quality customer service.

    + Receives, unpacks, and examines goods shipped and verifies completeness of shipments against purchase orders, bills of lading, invoices, and other records.

    + Performs duties related to overall internal customer service.

    + Processes receipts and delivery of material from suppliers to other areas of the facility.

    + Performs inventory stocking and cycle counts.

    + Interfaces with all levels of repair personnel as required. Coordinates with other areas of the facility to determine packing material needs.

    + Takes an active role to ensure Environment, Health, and Safety standards and procedures are met and complied with.

    + Serves as customer interface on product status and delivery.

    + Maintains knowledge of Collins Aerospace organization and products to provide the appropriate information and support to customers.

    + Lifts up to 25 lbs. independently.

    + Performs other duties as required and available for overtime as necessary.

    QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

    + Typically requires HS degree with 2 years of relevant experience.

    + Must have warehouse operations experience.

    + Must be US citizen

    QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

    + Experience utilizing SAP

    + Microsoft Office Suite is highly preferred.
