Job Description:
We are seeking a Global Craft Leader for our xDR (SDR/BDR) community to drive sales excellence across Sage. This role will define and elevate the xDR craft by ensuring colleagues have the clarity, skills, and resources needed to succeed and grow their careers. You help build and lead the global xDR community, fostering collaboration, open communication, and alignment in GTM strategies. This will include defining role design, responsibilities, accountabilities, and success measures in partnership with global craft leaders. This is an opportunity to serve as a key connector across Sales Excellence, Transformation, GTM Design, and other craft leaders, while developing regional and segment champions to scale impact globally.
This is a Hybrid role based on-site three days per week in our Atlanta, GA office at Ponce City Market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and standardize the xDR craft globally, including role design, competencies, success measures, compensation alignment, and career pathways.
• Build and lead a global xDR community, fostering collaboration, shared learning, and professional development through events, coaching, and mentoring.
• Partner with Sales Enablement to deliver training, content, and coaching that strengthen product knowledge, industry awareness, and sales methodology.
• Collaborate with GTM, Commercial, HR, and Sales Excellence leaders to align workforce planning, capacity, and career development with Sage’s people strategy.
• Represent the xDR craft in process, technology, and tool design, ensuring alignment with sales methodology and GTM strategies.
• Leverage external best practices and innovation to continually evolve and improve sales development effectiveness.
Requirements:
• Proven experience delivering or managing the xDR/SDR/BDR craft, including hiring, developing talent, and leading organizational initiatives.
• Strong coaching skills, with the ability to mentor teams, deliver enablement, and drive skill development across the craft.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and foster collaboration.
• Commercially astute, resilient, and agile, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, challenge the status quo, and innovate new ways of working.
• Experience defining processes, documenting roles, competencies, methodologies, and business development frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to establish metrics, craft capacity plans, and execution plans aligned to goals and objectives.
• Strong presence and thought leadership to build community engagement, drive adoption, and embed craft productivity and sales excellence.
