WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an experienced planning and operations lead for this position. The responsibilities include managing processes for effective ways of working, improving collaboration, minimizing bottlenecks, increasing efficiency, and aligning resource management with business objectives.
This role partners with a senior director to deliver strategies aligning with Nike's enterprise vision. It collaborates across teams to ensure consistent retail experiences globally and promotes sharing best practices among global and Geo retail teams.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You’ll work directly with the Director, Planning & Operations, your team of peers, and other cross-functional teams such as the Global Retail Business, Retail Creative, Services & Experiences and Global Merchandising Team.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
+ Implement strategic plans for initiatives through cross-functional integration across marketplace and marketing channels.
+ Lead foundational, cross season / cross channel planning and operations to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.
+ Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively.
+ Implement and drive foundational discipline roadmap.
+ Communicate effectively with other geographical regions within Nike (Geos).
+ Lead and mentor a project management team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
WHAT YOU BRING
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
+ A minimum of 6 years of directly relevant work experience related in Retail Marketing.
+ Proven experience in planning and operations within retail marketing, with a strong track record of successful campaigns
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ Proficiency in Air Table is required
+ Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
+ Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
+ Master's degree in Marketing or a related field
+ Experience in seasonal retail marketing
+ Knowledge of advanced marketing techniques and strategies
+ Proficiency in CODE marketing process and seasonal retail delivery process
+ Previous experience leading and mentoring a team
