Our client, a leader in chemical manufacturing, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the Production Department supporting operational functions and process improvements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Manufacturing Technician

**Location:** St. Louis, MO

**Shift:** Hours are 6pm-6:30am on the same rotating 2 week schedule as our MFG Techs. (Week 1 - M,T,F,S / Week 2 - Su, W, Th).

**Duration:** 12+ Months Contract

What's the Job?

+ Support operational functions within chemical manufacturing processes

+ Operate and monitor large-scale reaction vessels, centrifuges, and dryers

+ Assist with chemical addition to reactors, ensuring precise procedures are followed

+ Participate in process improvement initiatives and troubleshoot operational issues

+ Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols

What's Needed?

+ Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a production or chemical manufacturing environment

+ Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field preferred; or an Associate degree with extensive experience

+ Experience with industrial equipment such as reactors, centrifuges, and dryers

+ Forklift certification and experience operating powered industrial equipment

+ Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and work in rotating shifts, including night schedules
