    Our client, a leading organization in the semiconductor industry, is seeking a Digital Design Engineer to join their team. As a Digital Design Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the development and verification of advanced integrated circuits. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

    What's the Job?

     

    + Design and implement digital VLSI circuits and systems, including RTL design, simulations, and verification.

    + Perform static timing analysis, timing closure, and physical design tasks such as floor planning, placement, and routing.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize power, performance, and area of complex chip designs.

    + Drive the physical design flow from initial netlist to tape-out, ensuring design signoff and quality standards are met.

    + Utilize industry-standard EDA tools for synthesis, place & route, and verification processes.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Proven experience in physical design methodologies including floorplanning, placement, clock tree synthesis, and routing.

    + Strong knowledge of signoff flows and tools such as PrimeTime, RedHawk, and Calibre.

    + Hands-on expertise with industry-standard EDA tools like Synopsys ICC2/Fusion Compiler, Cadence Innovus, and Mentor Calibre.

    + Deep understanding of timing closure, ECO flows, and constraints management for complex hierarchical designs.

    + Experience with power analysis, reduction techniques, and performance tuning in advanced process nodes.
