Description We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Boston, Massachusetts. This position focuses on managing treasury and fixed asset accounting processes while contributing to the success of month-end close activities and audits. The ideal candidate will bring extensive accounting expertise and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee treasury and fixed asset accounting processes, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and maintained.

• Prepare and post journal entries to support month-end close activities while adhering to strict deadlines.

• Reconcile accounts and bank transactions with precision and efficiency.

• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper tracking and management of fixed assets.

• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.

• Assist with the integration of bank transaction and fixed asset management into NetSuite.

• Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure compliance with corporate accounting standards.

• Maintain detailed records and reports to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.

• Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.

• Stay updated on accounting software and systems, adapting quickly to new implementations. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on treasury and fixed assets preferred.

• Strong proficiency in accounting software, particularly NetSuite and Blackline.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and best practices.

• Demonstrated ability to manage month-end close processes and journal entries.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
