Lead of projects and mentor other individuals with less experience. Deliver engineering documents for construction on LSNA/PHARMA sites across the globe. Work on projects including state of the art industrial and commercial facilities. Accountable for schedule and technical quality of assigned routine engineering tasks, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget and schedule for assigned tasks. Effectively recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly. Review vendor drawings, execute piping engineering design, and develop design estimates. 3D software analysis and modeling of piping and equipment within a project. Stress analysis, P&ID review and list association. Analysis of engineering clients plant or office to review layout of equipment or process piping within the clients lab/building. Reports administratively to the department manager and functionally as determined by the org chart on assigned projects.

Telecommuting/Hybrid schedule is allowed.

Travel: 25% domestic travel to site visits with lead/senior designers to determine proper location of piping and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 5 years of work experience in the job offered or related occupation.

SPECIFIC SKILLS: Expertise and knowledge of: 5 years of experience in 3D piping design either on site or in a design office. Draft, layout and arrange piping and drawings to review with client. Able to assist in preparation of lists and progressing reports for the piping project lead. Pharma, Biotech or Oil & Gas industry experience with S3D and Plant 3D software. Develop 3D models and pipe supports for process and mechanical systems and modifies existing designs to develop and improve them. Generate isometrics within 3D Software. S3D, Plant3D, Ceaser I & II. CadWorx, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit, CloudWorx, Revizto.
