Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to essential accounting operations while utilizing your expertise in financial systems and tools. The ideal candidate will bring precision, organization, and a collaborative attitude to the role.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes with accuracy and efficiency.

• Perform data entry tasks to ensure financial records are updated and maintained.

• Process invoices and verify their accuracy before submission.

• Utilize Sage accounting software to manage and track financial transactions.

• Create and maintain spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel to support accounting operations.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.

• Assist with general accounting tasks and projects as needed.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Requirements • Proven experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.

• Hands-on experience with Sage accounting software.

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including creating and managing spreadsheets.

• Ability to process invoices and verify their accuracy.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication abilities and a team-oriented approach.
