Description

Michelle Espejo with Robert Half Financial Services is recruiting for a Head of Finance & Operations at a fast-growing venture capital firm. This is a full-time permanent role based in San Francisco with a Hybrid schedule.

They are changing how traditional industries adopt modern technology. With billion in assets under management and plans to double soon, the firm has a strong track record and top-tier institutional partnerships.

As Head of Finance & Operations, you’ll play a key role in scaling the firm, improving processes, and supporting growth across its technology-focused investment platform. The culture is collaborative and ambitious, with top perks plus carry plan. This has a clear path to CFO.

Responsibilities:

+ Oversee financial operations across funds and the management company, including audits and reporting.

+ Partner on fund structures, co-investment programs, and LP due diligence.

+ Support investment teams through term sheets to closings.

+ Build operational policies, compliance frameworks, and valuation standards.

+ Work with engineering to improve data systems and tech.

+ Mentor and grow a high-performing team.

Requirements

+ 10+ years in venture capital, private equity, fund administration, or senior finance/operations roles.

+ Strong knowledge of fund mechanics, reporting, and compliance.

+ Experience running finance/operations functions with accountability.

+ Ability to collaborate with IR and investment teams.

+ Financial and operational skills, plus a focus on scalable systems.
