Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team on a long-term contract basis. Based in Austin, Texas, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work in civil litigation, trial preparation, and discovery processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail to support a dynamic legal team.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support litigation and appellate cases.

• Assist with discovery processes, including document review and preparation.

• Draft, proofread, and redline legal briefs, motions, and other court documents.

• Perform cite checking to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.

• Manage case files and maintain organization using case management software.

• Coordinate trial preparation tasks, including assembling exhibits and preparing case summaries.

• Support attorneys in drafting and editing legal documents for civil litigation.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met and all documentation is complete.

• Review and finalize legal briefs for submission to courts.

• Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of litigation processes. Requirements • Proven experience as a Paralegal in civil litigation or appellate cases.

• Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw.

• Strong skills in cite checking and proofreading legal documents.

• Familiarity with case management software and document organization.

• Ability to draft, redline, and edit legal briefs and motions.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Knowledge of trial preparation processes and discovery procedures.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a legal team.
