    Job Title: Adjustment SpecialistJob Description

    A global leader in automated material handling systems (AMHS) is seeking an Adjustment Technician to support the commissioning and installation of advanced automated semiconductor equipment at customer sites. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for fieldwork.

    Responsibilities

    + Support the startup and commissioning of automated equipment from initial power-up through final customer acceptance.

    + Perform routine installations, adjustments, and maintenance on assigned systems.

    + Analyze system logs to identify and resolve hardware or software issues.

    + Install and verify software using provided procedures and documentation.

    + Train customer and internal technicians on operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

    + Write and revise technical procedures and reports.

    + Serve as a liaison between field operations and engineering teams.

    + Maintain daily installation logs and submit status reports.

    + Participate in daily site meetings and coordinate with multinational teams.

    + Recommend technical solutions to engineering groups based on field experience.

    + Travel frequently (domestic and international), often for extended periods.

    + Work independently with minimal supervision in active construction environments.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with automated equipment, semiconductor manufacturing, and heavy industrial equipment.

    + Associate’s degree in a technical field (Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred), technical school, or military certification.

    + 0–2 years of field service experience in industrial automation or semiconductor environments.

    + Strong knowledge of diagnostic tools (DVM, oscilloscope) and mechanical/electrical systems.

    + Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and equipment drawings.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project) and data reporting tools.

    + Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    + Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain travel documentation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Willingness to travel 80%+ and remain on-site for extended durations.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.

    + Comfortable with climbing ladders, kneeling, and working in construction zones.

    + Safety-oriented mindset and attention to detail.

    Work Environment

    The work environment involves frequent travel both domestically and internationally, often requiring extended stays. The role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision in active construction environments. The candidate should be comfortable working in physically demanding conditions, including climbing ladders and kneeling. A safety-oriented mindset and attention to detail are crucial.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Dallas, Texas.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
