    Lab Technician - Administrative Support

    Responsibilities

    + Generate COAs using laboratory results

    + Maintain a current status for all training and certifications and prepare standards and reagents.

    + Perform lab housekeeping and sample management duties to ensure a clean and safe work area, dispose of lab waste per guidelines, and maintain chemical and supply inventory.

    Essential Skills

    + Organizational skills

    + Administrative support and data entry

    + Familiarity with laboratory operations support and analytical chemistry.

    + Proficiency in data entry and using MS Office, including Excel and Google Sheets.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Candidates must have a minimum of a GED or high school diploma; an AS degree in a science such as environmental science, biology, or chemistry is preferred.

    + High volume administrative support experience is required

    + Understanding and commitment to complying with safety and regulatory standards

    + Ability to lift 50-100 lbs, which are cylinders.

    + Soft skills: organized, detail-oriented, accurate, agile, and able to prioritize quickly, work with short deadlines, and have strong communication skills to support the team.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
