    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated CNC Machine Operators to produce quality, uncomplicated production parts according to print specifications, with continued direction and support.

    Responsibilities

    + Demonstrate proper work methods and procedures, use of tools and equipment, and safe work practices under direct and continued training.

    + Run written programs for CNC machines to produce production parts as necessary.

    + Perform simple machining operations to support cell deliveries with continual direction.

    + Comply with all rules and regulations outlined in the employee handbook.

    + Carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one’s skills.

    + Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required.

    + Follow all EH & S guidelines, including wearing required personal protective equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in machine operation and production.

    + Ability to operate lathe, machine, and assembly equipment.

    + Proficiency in reading blueprints.

    + Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.

    + Knowledge of basic machine shop practices.

    + Use of basic shop mathematics with continued guidance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to lift up to 25 lbs independently.

    + Physically capable of bending, lifting, squatting, twisting, overhead reaching, standing for long periods (up to 8 hours), and climbing stairs.

    Work Environment

     

    This role requires working on a 4th shift schedule. The work environment emphasizes safety, requiring adherence to EH & S guidelines and the use of personal protective equipment. The position involves physical activities such as standing for extended periods and performing tasks requiring precision and attention to detail.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clayville, New York.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
