Job Title: CNC Lathe Programmer

Job Description

Join a world-leading manufacturer of high-pressure water jetting equipment as a CNC Lathe Programmer. You will be part of a dynamic team that drives innovation through precision engineering, production efficiency, and diesel engine optimization.

Responsibilities

+ Set up, program, and operate a Mazak Integrex Mill Turn work center.

+ Interpret blueprints with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

+ Perform setups efficiently and accurately.

+ Set up gauging and use basic inspection equipment to verify print specifications.

+ Provide feedback to leaders to improve manufacturing processes.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of experience programming/operating Mazak Integrex with Fusion/Matrix/Smooth control.

+ 4+ years as a CNC Machinist with Mazatrol Controls, programming from scratch.

+ Ability to perform own setups.

+ Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, depth micrometers, and bore gages for inspecting finished parts.

+ Blueprint reading and GD&T expertise.

+ Proficient in tool offsets and programming edits.

+ Proper tool touch-off skills.

+ Ability to perform basic math (fractions to decimals) and use a calculator.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with other CNC Lathe machines is advantageous.

+ Prototype background is desirable.

+ Ability to hold tight tolerances.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, climate-controlled facility built in 2021. Enjoy a collaborative atmosphere with many different departments and areas, allowing for diverse learning and growth opportunities. Work the first shift from 6 am to 3 pm (or 4:30 pm depending on the shift duration), Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays as needed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Wixom, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $60320.00/yr.
