    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Grinder Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for setting up and operating manual grinding operations to process synthetic diamond material into high-precision insert and round cutting tools. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to quality standards to ensure the finished product meets specifications.

    Responsibilities

    + Consult the production schedule to prepare the work area and equipment.

    + Gather components and set up equipment needed for production.

    + Set up and operate manual grinding operations.

    + Handle and load materials onto the grinding machine, ensuring proper positioning and securing.

    + Manually grind synthetic diamond material for the manufacture of high-precision insert and round cutting tools.

    + Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to achieve precise dimensions and surface finishes.

    + Use various types of precision inspection equipment, including optical comparators, to ensure products meet quality standards and print specifications.

    + Make necessary adjustments to maintain the desired quality of the finished product.

    + Verify finished parts to print dimensions according to specifications.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $41600.00/yr.

     

    80 Hours of PTO, will be prorated, 12 paid holidays, full benefits, tuition reimbursement for opportunities to advance with the company (both the Plant Manager and Ops Manager started in this role)

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Painesville,OH.
