Job Title: Field Technician
Job Description
As a Field Technician, you will be tasked with visiting commercial customer sites to install CO2 monitors in compliance with new regulations. This role involves light low-voltage work, similar to installing a fire alarm. You will primarily work with CAT 5 cabling to connect the monitors directly to the systems in commercial areas such as restaurants and gas stations.
Responsibilities
+ Install CO2 monitors at commercial customer sites using CAT 5 cabling.
+ Communicate politely with current customers to explain the installation process.
+ Document installation work using a smartphone for GPS, photos, and mileage tracking.
+ Drive to various locations around town, requiring reliable transportation.
Essential Skills
+ 2 years of experience in light construction, mechanical, or electrical work.
+ Basic understanding of wiring, mechanical, and electrical systems.
+ Ability to use a smartphone for GPS navigation and documentation.
+ Experience with low voltage or light electrical work.
+ Ability to interface professionally with customers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Honest, independent personality with strong communication skills.
+ Experience in driving for work purposes.
+ Possession of tools and a ladder needed for the job.
+ No specific educational or certification requirements.

Work Environment
The work environment is highly independent, with minimal field management. You will meet at the shop before heading out to various customer sites. The role requires documenting daily activities and installations. The standard shifts are from 7am to 4pm, with a 40-hour work week. You will be working in various commercial settings, not residential areas.

This is a Contract position based out of Garland, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
