Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated warehouse workers to join a dynamic team responsible for distributing products. In this fast-paced environment, you will be picking orders, operating an electronic pallet jack, and stacking pallets with various products. Once the pallet is full, you will wrap it and load it into trucks. Communication throughout the warehouse is facilitated through a headset.

Responsibilities

+ Pick orders in a fast-paced environment.

+ Operate an electronic pallet jack.

+ Stack pallets with products.

+ Wrap pallets once full.

+ Load wrapped pallets into trucks.

+ Communicate via headset throughout the warehouse.

Essential Skills

+ 6+ months of warehouse experience.

+ Comfortable lifting and stacking 20-50lbs consistently.

+ Proficient in operating pallet jacks and forklifts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in picking, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse labor.

Work Environment

The work environment is a busy warehouse on the 2nd shift, with about 25 employees. It is a very clean setting with designated break times at 4, 6:30, and occasionally at 9 during busy periods. The shift starts at 2 pm and can extend to as late as 2:30 AM - 4:00 AM during the busy season, particularly on Thursdays and Fridays. Candidates may work up to 16 hours straight before holidays. Initial weeks may cause muscle soreness due to pallet stacking, but this typically subsides as you acclimate to the physical demands.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OMAHA, Nebraska.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
