    Job Title: Production Assembler

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Production Assembler where you will engage in basic assembly work, which involves repetitive tasks and interpreting both verbal and written assembly instructions. Operate production machines to create parts that meet our high standards, using hand tools to assemble products. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial as you identify and report any workmanship defects or machine malfunctions to management. Prepare parts for painting and shipping, maintain a clean and safe environment, and document production activities as needed. Additional tasks may include counting, packaging, labeling, and small part mechanical assembly.

    Responsibilities

    + Interpret drawings and assembly instructions.

    + Operate production machines to produce parts according to standards.

    + Use hand tools to assemble products.

    + Detect and report workmanship defects and machine/tool malfunctions.

    + Prepare parts for painting and shipping, including gluing, taping, and cleaning.

    + Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

    + Document production activities as requested.

    + Perform tasks such as counting, packaging, labeling, and bagging produced parts.

    Essential Skills

    + 6+ months of production experience.

    + Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

    + Good verbal and written communication skills.

    + Attention to detail.

    + Ability to work individually and within a team.

    + Quick learner with minimal need for direction.

    + Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Adequate math, reading, and reasoning ability.

    + Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.

    + Manual dexterity to meet daily/weekly quotas.

    + Positive attitude.

    + Ability to work overtime.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is predominantly a sit-down position, with some standing and light lifting required. The dress code is manufacturing casual, allowing for comfort with closed-toe shoes, pants, and t-shirts. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. While parking may require a short walk, this is part of a vibrant environment that is still developing into a state-of-the-art production floor. The physical demands include regular standing, walking, sitting, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

    This is a Contract position based out of Poway, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
