Job Title: Software Test Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Software Test Engineer responsible for developing test system software for manufacturing, design verification, and characterization. This role includes writing unit and integration tests and developing other useful applications such as DB viewers. You will also be responsible for documenting software protocols, design verification activities, and performing debugging and troubleshooting tasks, including root cause analysis.
Responsibilities
+ Design, develop, verify, and validate test software for device manufacturing, design verification, and characterization.
+ Author requirements, detailed design descriptions, software specifications, and test cases.
+ Identify, develop, verify, validate, and implement process changes to improve quality, yield, throughput, and cost.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in hardware testing, electrical engineering, validation, design verification, and test equipment.
+ Experience with C++ and C# object-oriented programming.
+ Prior experience with automated test equipment design and control via software.
+ Experience in electrical circuit analysis, troubleshooting, failure analysis, and risk mitigation.
+ Expertise in writing protocols, reports, and engineering documentation.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ Experience in software complexity analysis and quality assurance through unit, integration, and validation.
+ Experience with oscilloscopes, test engineering, electrical testing, and test plan development.
+ Familiarity with medical device testing and validation.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
