    Job Title: Machine Operator

    Job Description

    As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery such as printing presses, rewinders, and sheeters. You will perform setups, changeovers, and minor maintenance while ensuring production quality. The role requires reading technical drawings and schematics, handling materials, and working in a team-oriented, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and maintain machinery including printing presses, rewinders, and sheeters.

    + Perform setups, changeovers, and minor maintenance tasks.

    + Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

    + Handle materials and ensure production quality is maintained.

    + Work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in machine operation, including extrusion machines and paper processing.

    + Ability to perform color matching and machine changeovers.

    + Experience in machine setup and operation.

    + Capability to work swing shifts, including 8-hour and 12-hour shifts.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to lift 25-30 lbs. when needed.

    + Capability to remain on your feet for extended periods.

    + Willingness to rotate shifts between 8-hour and 12-hour schedules.

    Work Environment

     

    The position is based in a paper mill with an older building and machinery. Expect temperature variations with hot conditions in the summer and cold conditions in the winter. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring adaptability and teamwork.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $53664.00 - $53664.00/yr.
