    Job Title: Driver

    Job Description

    Join our team as a driver, where you will have the opportunity to drive on local, regional, and gateway routes. Positions require a Class C license, and depending on the route, a Haz-Mat endorsement or willingness to obtain one within 90 days. You'll be driving a van similar in size to a U-Haul van. This role offers consistent schedules and the chance to be home daily or have overnight stays, depending on the route.

    Responsibilities

    + Drive on designated routes, including local, regional, and gateway routes.

    + Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of cargo.

    + Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to compliance standards.

    + Load and unload materials from the truck when necessary.

    + Drive a van the size of a U-Haul van.

    + Possess or obtain a Haz-Mat endorsement for specific routes.

    + Manage several stops and drops at destination cities, including overnight stays when required.

    Essential Skills

    + Possession of a Class C driver's license.

    + Clean driving record.

    + Ability to pass compliance checks.

    + Possession of a medical card.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Prior driving experience is preferred.

    + Experience with box trucks, loading, unloading, and transport.

    + Familiarity with general labor and inventory management.

    + Forklift operation skills.

    + CDL Class A or B license is advantageous.

    Work Environment

     

    Drivers spend 95% of their time on the road, primarily traveling from airport to airport, ensuring top-notch facilities. Depending on the route, drivers work Monday through Friday or Sunday through Thursday, with departure times varying.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $34000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

     

    Air Ground Xpress is a Local company started out of Clinton PA. Their are 5 total owners who all sit at various sites. Any driver is going to get 40+ hours a week. the selling point here is the consistent schedule.

    This is a fully onsite position in Clinton,PA.
