Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Job Description
This role involves hands-on experience with precision CNC machining equipment and peripheral automation, focusing on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components and systems. You will be responsible for diagnostics and repair on CNC turning and milling machines as well as manual manufacturing machines. Additional responsibilities include supporting plant infrastructure repairs, such as heating, ventilation, lighting, compressors, motors, and other equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Perform preventive maintenance as assigned, including cleaning and inspection of company equipment from work orders generated by the company CMMS.
+ Use technical documents and OEM equipment manuals to identify equipment failures and order replacement parts as needed.
+ Assist in alignments of CNC spindles, turrets, and tail stocks.
+ Conduct periodic machine alignment and leveling on equipment as required.
+ Collaborate with the production team to support continuous improvement by developing PM instructions and schedules to prevent recurring failures.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of maintenance experience on CNC or metal fabrication equipment
+ 2+ years of teardown, repair, and troubleshooting experience
+ 2+ years of mechanical and electrical experience
+ 1+ year of experience in Ladder logic, PLC troubleshooting, and interpreting blueprints/schematics
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with lathes, mills, motors, and grinders
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting

Work Environment
The work environment is a non-climate-controlled shop that is loud and somewhat dirty. You will work the first shift from Monday to Thursday, 5:30 am to 4 pm. The dress code includes company-supplied uniforms, and employees must wear steel-toe boots and safety glasses on the floor.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
