Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in the food industry. The role involves performing electrical and mechanical repairs on food processing equipment to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
+ Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on food processing equipment.
+ Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, including motors and sensors up to 240 volts.
+ Navigate and manage PLC controls efficiently.
+ Replace 3-phase motors and sensors on conveyor systems.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance and repair tasks.
+ Read and interpret machine schematics accurately.
+ Check and grease fittings on industrial machinery.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience in electrical troubleshooting (motors and sensors up to 240v).
+ 2+ years of experience in PLC navigation.
+ Experience in replacing 3-phase motors and sensors on conveyor systems.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to read and interpret schematics.
+ 1+ year of experience with industrial machinery maintenance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
+ Knowledge of food manufacturing processes.
+ Skills in repair, preventive maintenance, schematic reading, and blueprint interpretation.

Work Environment
Work in a clean and climate-controlled facility. The environment is maintained at a constant temperature of 38 degrees to ensure food safety standards.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Dearborn, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
