Environmental Technician | $18–$20/hr | First Shift

An **established construction** in **Homestead, FL** (serving clients since 1995) is hiring **Environmental Technicians** to support clean-up and maintenance efforts on new construction job sites and facility projects.

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 1st Shift 7 AM - 5PM (anywhere from 8 to 12 hours depending on job)

**Pay:** $18–$20/hr (based on experience)

_Full-time with potential overtime_

Responsibilities:

+ Perform cleaning, vacuuming, flushing, and blasting services

+ Work on new construction sites and within company facilities

+ Operate light and heavy equipment (e.g., vacuum trucks, blasting tools)

+ Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

+ Must be comfortable wearing a respirator mask, so you will need to be clean shaven.

Qualifications:

+ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

+ Mechanically inclined and safety-conscious

+ Experience with industrial cleaning equipment preferred

Work Environment

You must be comfortable working in various elements, whether hot, wet, or foul-smelling. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times, including steel-toed boots, safety glasses, gloves, a safety vest, and a hardhat. You will work Monday to Friday and occasionally be on call, with work hours ranging from 7 AM to 5 PM (8 to 12-hour shifts depending on the job). You will work in a crew of 2-3 people and must be willing to be clean-shaven to wear a respirator if required. A per diem is provided for travel time.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
