    Local Law 11 Project Lead – FISP / Local Law 11 Projects (Field & Office-Based | NYC)

    We’re hiring an Architect to lead the full lifecycle of FISP (Local Law 11) projects across NYC. This hybrid role blends field inspections with office-based design and project coordination, offering flexibility, autonomy, and the chance to work on meaningful exterior restoration projects.

    About the Role

    You’ll inspect buildings across the five boroughs—typically 7 to 20 stories tall—prepare drawings and project manuals, file with the DOB, and support clients through bidding and contract negotiations. Once projects begin, you’ll lead startup meetings, conduct weekly site visits, review submittals and change orders, and manage project documentation.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Conduct field inspections for FISP/Local Law 11 compliance

    + Prepare and mark up drawings in AutoCAD

    + Draft project manuals and assist with DOB filings

    + Lead startup meetings and weekly contractor/owner rep meetings

    + Record meeting minutes and maintain project documentation

    + Review submittals, revise drawings, and evaluate change orders

    + Manage 2–8 active projects depending on scale

    + Participate in daily/weekly check-ins with team and principal

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering

    + 3+ years of experience in FISP/Local Law 11 projects

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

    + Strong communication and organizational skills

    + Comfortable with regular fieldwork across NYC

    Preferred Skills

    + QEWI certification or interest in pursuing it

    + Registered Architect or PE license

    + Experience with building envelope and exterior restoration

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $58.00/hr.
