We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee the electrical scope of a hyperscale data center project. This role requires deep expertise in managing large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects, with a strong emphasis on high-voltage systems, power distribution, and coordination with general contractors and technology clients.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Project Planning & Execution

+ Lead the electrical construction efforts from pre-construction through commissioning.

+ Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and manpower forecasts.

+ Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, vendors, and client representatives.

+ Technical Oversight

+ Review electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance.

+ Ensure installation meets hyperscale data center standards, including redundancy, scalability, and uptime requirements.

+ Manage procurement of major electrical equipment (switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, etc.).

+ Team Leadership

+ Supervise field teams, foremen, and subcontractors.

+ Foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.

+ Conduct regular site walks and progress meetings.

+ Client & Stakeholder Communication

+ Serve as the primary point of contact for the electrical scope with the client and general contractor.

+ Provide regular updates, reports, and issue resolution.

+ Compliance & Safety

+ Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and client standards.

+ Enforce safety protocols and participate in audits and inspections.

Qualifications:

+ Education & Experience

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).

+ Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical project management, with 3+ years on data center or mission-critical projects.

+ Proven experience managing hyperscale or large-scale electrical infrastructure projects.

+ Skills & Certifications

+ Strong understanding of electrical systems: MV/LV distribution, grounding, lighting, fire alarm, and BMS integration.

+ Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).

+ OSHA 30 certification (preferred).

+ PMP or similar certification (a plus).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
