Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Packaging Operators. This role involves efficiently monitoring downstream packaging and related capping and casing equipment. You will uphold quality standards by performing periodic package and case integrity tests, as well as ensuring proper set-up and changeovers of equipment and supplies. The position requires performing rework and sanitation duties as needed and troubleshooting problems using a computer touch screen.

Responsibilities

+ Monitor and operate downstream packaging and related equipment.

+ Ensure quality standards by conducting package and case integrity tests.

+ Set up and change over equipment and supplies properly.

+ Perform rework and sanitation duties as required.

+ Operate automated systems efficiently.

+ Troubleshoot issues using a computer touch screen.

Essential Skills

+ Production experience in packaging or a related field.

+ Ability to operate packaging and warehouse equipment.

+ Proficiency in general labor tasks, including assembly, packing, and labeling.

+ Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Proven attention to detail.

+ Ability to read and comprehend English work instructions.

+ Capability to work 12-hour shifts while standing for the entire duration.

Work Environment

This role is based in a fast-paced food production environment, where you will monitor the packaging line and products emerging from the packaging machine. The work environment can have strong odors, and the position requires standing for 12 or more hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
