Job Title: Mold Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Mold Technician for 3rd shift. The role involves managing start-ups, shut-downs, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure successful first runs. Responsibilities include rigging and hoisting molds, disassembling, cleaning, reassembling molds, performing preventive maintenance, and documenting mold change sheets. A background in automotive, machining, or mechanical fields is beneficial.
Responsibilities
+ Manage start-ups and shut-downs of equipment.
+ Troubleshoot equipment to achieve successful first runs.
+ Rig and hoist molds in and out of machinery.
+ Disassemble, clean, and reassemble molds as needed.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on molds.
+ Utilize LOTO and ensure safe operation at all times.
+ Document and complete mold change sheets.
Essential Skills
+ Mechanical aptitude and mechanically inclined capabilities.
+ Ability to crank a wrench and perform basic preventive maintenance.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting issues identified with molds.
+ Experience with hand, power, and pneumatic tools.
+ Capability to utilize forklifts and hoists for mold changes.
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and climb ladders.
Work Environment
Work in a clean and laid-back environment with standard hours for the 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am (Sunday to Thursday). A $1 shift premium is offered for the 3rd shift, and training will be conducted on the 1st shift for approximately two months. The role involves physical activity, including lifting, bending, and using various tools and equipment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Elkhart, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $52000.00/yr.
