    Job Details

    The Cardiac CT Technician supports both nursing and technical staff in providing high-quality patient care within the Cardiac CT Department. This role involves direct patient interaction, assisting with procedures, and ensuring a safe and efficient environment for both patients and staff.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Patient Assistance:

    + Escort patients to and from the Cardiac CT department.

    + Assist patients with bathroom needs and changing into dressing gowns.

    + Help patients onto and off the CT scan table with proper technique and safety protocols.

    + Clinical Support:

    + Perform 12-lead electrocardiograms (EKGs) as needed.

    + Apply monitoring leads for cardiac testing.

    + Obtain vital signs when required for patient assessment.

    + Patient Safety & Comfort:

    + Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients throughout their visit.

    + Discontinue IV lines following established protocols.

    + Operational Support:

    + Stock and maintain necessary supplies for daily operations.

    + Clean and disinfect CT tables and equipment after each use.

    + Assist Cardiac MRI staff with patient care and duties when required.

    Requirements:

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + Ability to work effectively in a clinical setting and assist patients with a compassionate and professional demeanor.

     

    Salary Range

     

    USD $23.79 - USD $23.79 /Hr.
