Responsibilities

What You'll Get To Do

+ Assist to prepare consolidated financial statements for Panasonic North America, both statutory and managerial

+ Analyze intercompany transactions and develop elimination entries as needed

+ Review general ledger accounts, trial balance, trading partner codes and journal entries

+ Conduct accounting treatments with consistency analysis

+ Conduct reconciliation between SAP/BPC and other Panasonic systems (EVANET/WING)

+ Monitor accounting system reliability and resolve issues by collaborating with IT Team

+ COA, trading partner codes and other mapping maintenance in SAP Hana PS4

Administrative role

+ Manage closing process monthly, quarterly, and yearly to ensure accuracy and meeting deadlines.

+ Process reporting systems access application; system introduction, user training and user inventory

+ Blackline system and local administration

Ad-hoc

+ Communicate with other Panasonic affiliates (parent and PEXNA shared services)

+ Respond to inquiries from KPMG and PEXNA various shared services

+ Prepare government surveys/questionnaires (US Census, Department of Commerce, etc.)

+ Involve in ad-hoc projects / reports as requested including but not limited to:

+ Process improvement

+ SAP S4 Hana upgrade/integration with other systems

+ WING/EVANET next generation

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

+ Accounting degree

+ 4-year+ in finance/accounting

+ Knowledge about Consolidation, IFRS, US GAAP

+ Manufacturing environment

+ CPA/MBA

+ SAP, BPC, BLACKLINE, EXCEL (Look up, pivot table)

+ System implementation

The wage range of $80,000 - $100,000 is just one component of Panasonic’s total package. Actual compensation varies depending on the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and incentives.
