Job Title: AccountantJob Description
This role involves managing the general ledger functions for one or more non-profit entities within a church setting. The position requires comprehensive accounting responsibilities that support the financial operations of the organization.
Responsibilities
+ Manage general ledger accounting for non-profit entities.
+ Handle invoicing, payroll, and journal entries.
+ Perform account reconciliations, including bank, cash, and payroll reconciliations.
+ Prepare and manage budgets.
+ Utilize ERP software for general ledger work.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
+ At least 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting for a non-profit.
+ Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
+ Experience with larger ERP software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Great Plains software is a plus.
Work Environment
The position offers a supportive and close-knit work culture, with many team members having over ten years of tenure. The role provides a blend of onsite and remote work, with four days in the office and one day from home. You will have your own private office and be part of an 18-member accounting and accounts payable team. The organization offers full benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 4.5% retirement match, and a generous holiday schedule of at least 15 days annually. Dress code is professional.

This is a Permanent position based out of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68000.00 - $72000.00/yr.
vision, dental, medical (IBX), HSA, 4.5% match - VOO after 1,000 hours, 15 holidays at minimum
