• Accounts Receivable Associate

    System One (Paterson, NJ)


    Title: Accounts Receivable Associate

     

    Terms 6 months contract

     

    Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 to 2:30pm ON SITE DAILY 30 hour work week.

     

    Start: ASAP

     

    Pay rate $30-$35/hr

    Education:

    Associate’s degree in Accounting required Or BS Accounting no experience

    Requirements:

    • 2-3 years of A/R, credit collection related experience Required

    • Thorough understanding of policies and procedures used in accounts receivable and collections

    • Strong analytical skills with a focus on details and accuracy

    • Highly self-motivated with the ability to remain focused and work with limited supervision, perform well under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and successfully meet deadlines

    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

    Responsibilities

    • Monitoring cash collections, cash application, chargebacks, disputes, and resolutions

    • Managing weekly and monthly reporting and analysis

    • Managing the A/R monthly closing process, account reconciliations

    • Supporting external audits
