DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Custodial workers perform routine manual tasks to maintain cleanliness in public institutional buildings and surrounding areas. This role requires the use of professional-grade cleaning supplies and modern cleaning equipment and may involve such laborious tasks as moving or lifting heavy furniture. Duties follow a consistent schedule and are regularly inspected to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met. Additionally, you will assist with snow removal, maintain a safe working environment, and report any problems or unsafe conditions to your supervisor.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment , 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week
+ Work hours are 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM), rotating days and weekends, with a 30-minute lunch.
+ Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

+ You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
+ A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
+ This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
+ Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
