Job Overview
**Position Schedule:** Full-Time

The Client Needs Research Analyst is responsible for performing fundamental research for the advice and guidance of straightforward topics of financial planning and financial wellness. They may serve as a subject matter expert for the advice and guidance produced within their area of expertise, with moderate oversight from a Senior Strategist, Strategist, or Sr. Analyst. Activities include conducting research, recommending financial planning strategies, and writing strategy reports and other published articles. At times, they may also be asked tVo present on webinars and videos.
Key Responsibilities
+ **Subject matter expertise & decision-making:** Responsible for developing subject matter expertise within a specialized area of financial planning (e.g., basic retirement savings strategies) and developing and maintaining the firm's advice and guidance for their area.
+ **Analysis:** Responsible for conducting research on well-scoped projects for straightforward topics, which may include qualitative and quantitative research and analysis; recommending decision-making frameworks; and drafting reports and other resources communicating the firm's advice and guidance.
+ **Communications:** Responsible for communicating their team's advice and guidance accurately, primarily through written channels such as strategy reports and articles. May also present verbally to branch audiences.
+ **Works in partnership:** Responsible for effectively collaborating with other analysts/strategists to support team and department objectives.
+ This is not a client-facing position, and it is not expected to consult on client-specific situations.

**Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.**
