Nurse Manager – Long-Term Care

Living Center South – Geneva, NY

As a Nurse Manager, you will have the rewarding responsibility of mentoring and supporting our care team, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence, and fostering a culture built on teamwork, respect, and compassion.

Who You’ll Supervise:

+ CNA Trainees

+ CNAs

+ Senior CNAs

+ LPNs

+ RNs

+ Unit Clerks

What You’ll Do:

+ Lead, inspire, and support your team to provide resident-centered care.

+ Collaborate with physicians, families, and healthcare partners to ensure positive outcomes.

+ Oversee departmental operations, staffing, and compliance with DOH requirements.

+ Promote a healing environment where dignity, safety, and well-being remain our top priorities.

What We’re Looking For:

Education:

+ Minimum: Graduate of an accredited Registered Professional Nurse program.

+ Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), Master’s in Nursing, or related field.

Licensure/Certification:

+ Current NYS License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse.

Experience:

+ Minimum: 2 years of nursing or long-term care experience.

+ Minimum: 2 years of management/supervisory experience.

Skills & Competencies:

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively work with staff, residents, families, and physicians.

+ Knowledge of management systems, departmental planning, and evaluation.

+ Ability to lead, motivate, and model teamwork.

+ Skilled in project management, time management, and balancing multiple priorities under pressure.

+ Familiarity with DOH requirements.

+ Computer literacy required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Meditech experience preferred.
