We are searching for the best talent to join our Surgery R&D process team as an **Innovation Productivity Sr. Manager** to support the execution of strategic initiatives that enhance R&D efficiency and accelerate innovation. This position can be located in Raritan, NJ, Cincinnati, OH, and Irving, TX.
Purpose: This role will focus on analyzing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing process improvements through advanced technologies and data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with a passion for operational excellence and innovation.
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current R&D processes and identify areas for improvement.
+ Support the implementation of productivity-enhancing initiatives across product development and lifecycle maintenance.
+ Apply data analytics and AI tools to uncover insights and drive decision-making.
+ Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications.
+ Document and share best practices across teams to foster innovation and operational excellence.
+ Track performance metrics and report progress to leadership.
Education and Required Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree required.
+ 8+ years of experience in process improvement, project management, and R&D operations.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience working in matrixed organizations and cross-functional teams.
+ Familiarity with digital tools and emerging technologies for process optimization.
Preferred Skills & Experiences:
+ Experience leading and implementing AI solutions within R&D and/or MedTech
+ Familiarity with design control principles.
+ Understanding of surgical procedures, surgical device design, and the regulatory/quality system landscape.
+ Experience designing, developing, or launching products in an FDA-regulated environment.

+ This position requires up to 20% (Domestic/International) travel
The anticipated base pay range for this position is [$174,500] to [$235,000]
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
