    We are looking for an _experienced and versatile_ **Scale House Attendant** to join the team at our location in **St Cloud, FL** . Previous waste experience would be preferred but not required; willing to train the right candidate.

     

    **SHIFT** : Monday - Friday from 7:00am to closing. Scale house stops receiving trucks at 5:00pm. Every other Saturday from 6:00am to closing. Scale house stops receiving trucks at 12:00pm. Shift ends each day once all trucks have weighed out.

    **_PAY:_** _$18/hr DOE with a $1,500 stay on bonus paid out in increments over the course of your first year_

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Greet and direct all customers and guests upon entry of the Landfill

    + Weigh incoming trucks and customers in and out of the computer system

    + Receive payments via credit card from cash customers

    + Reconcile the day’s sales transactions

    + Data entry experience

    + Ensure incoming customer’s material is acceptable, safe and does not contain any inappropriate items

    + Communicate regularly with all employees and customers

    + Approach all encounters with employees, customers, and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner

    + Direct vendors, customers, and guests to follow the Site Operating Plan

    + Participate in cleaning work areas, common areas, and equipment

    + Follow opening and/or closing procedures

    + Perform other assigned duties that maintain compliance with the Site Operating Plan
