Job Description

Our Fortune 500 financial client is seeking a Business Systems Analyst with experience working with BMC Digital Workplace (DWP) to support their ITSM team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for BMC Helix Digital Workplace solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

• Process Analysis: Assess current business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions leveraging BMC Helix Digital Workplace capabilities.

• System Integration Coordination: Coordinate with technical teams to facilitate the integration of BMC Helix Digital Workplace with other enterprise systems and third-party applications. Experience with Jira integrations is a plus.

• Solution Evaluation: Work with business and technical teams to evaluate solution options, ensuring proposed customizations and integrations meet business needs and compliance standards.

• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Develop UAT plans, coordinate testing activities, and validate that solutions meet documented requirements.

• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive business requirements documents, process flows, user stories, and training materials.

• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between business users, project managers, and technical teams, providing regular status updates and facilitating effective communication.

• Project Management Support: Assist project managers in planning, tracking, and reporting project progress, risks, and issues to ensure timely delivery and quality outcomes.

Continuous Improvement: Stay current with BMC Helix Digital Workplace and ITSM trends to identify and recommend process enhancements and innovative solutions offered by the vendor.s.

Skills and Requirements

Demonstrated expertise in Jira, including configuring projects, workflows, and leveraging Jira automation to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

Understanding of BMC Helix Digital Workplace features, capabilities, and business use cases is preferred. Otherwise, any experience with project management within a Service Request System is helpful.

Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements for enterprise systems. Ability to map and optimize business processes and workflows.

User experience with Jira and Jira Automations Scrum Certified

Experience gathering requirements for BMC's "MyIT" platform

Compensation:

$50/hr to $60/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
