Job Description

A leading facilities services company is seeking an experienced Schedule and Release Lead to join its team in Bogotá, Colombia. This person is responsible for defining and implementing the orchestration tool roadmap, ensuring enterprise job scheduling and file transfer processes are optimized, secure, and compliant. This role provides technical leadership in workload automation, job scheduling, and secure file transfers using tools such as Broadcom Autosys, XCOM, and Globalscape. The position plays a critical role in automating workflows, improving operational efficiency, and supporting application teams in leveraging automation for new and existing systems. The engineer ensures all job flows and file transfers are documented, monitored, and aligned with security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• 20% – Analyze business requirements, define the overall architecture of job scheduling systems, design workflows, and integrate with enterprise applications.

• 20% – Work closely with developers, operations teams, and business users to ensure scheduling systems meet requirements and provide technical guidance.

• 20% – Document system architecture, design decisions, and operational procedures. Identify performance optimization and scalability strategies.

• 20% – Define platform lifecycle to ensure compliance with vendor requirements and adoption of new capabilities.

• 20% – Ensure financial close job schedules and enterprise scheduling tools are documented, optimized, and compliant with security standards.

Skills and Requirements

3 years of Lead experience

Experience administering job scheduling and file transfer tools, with expertise in Broadcom Autosys.

Proven ability to define orchestration tool roadmaps and implement automation strategies.

Experience developing reporting and alerting using Broadcom Automation Analytics Intelligence Reporting.

Knowledge of encryption standards (PGP) for data in transit and at rest.

Familiarity with workflow automation and optimization techniques.

Strong analytical skills, written and oral communication, and ability to work autonomously.

Fluent in English Autosys Workload Automation Certification.

XCOM Administrator Certification.

Knowledge of other job scheduling tools (e.g., BMC Control-M, Redwood, Automic).

Globalscape EFT Certification.

Experience with SAP Job Scheduling.

Azure Fundamentals Certification (AZ-900).

Basic understanding of Windows and Linux (Red Hat) OS administration.

Familiarity with Agile methodology and programming languages such as C#, .NET, Perl, or Python.
