Job Description

We’re seeking a proactive and technically strong QA Team Led to guide manual testing and quality assurance efforts across multiple projects and platforms. This role demands leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on testing expertise, with a focus on transitioning from manual to automated frameworks. This position will be responsible for leading a software QA testing team in support of system application development, including both internally developed and externally integrated software applications and administrative software applications.

• Lead QA strategy and execution across Agile and Waterfall projects

• Independently manage QA team and align testing efforts with business goals

• Oversee test planning, execution, and reporting using tools like Q-Test and Jira

• Collaborate with PMs and stakeholders to ensure test coverage and traceability

• Drive UAT coordination and maintain reusable test case repositories

• Ensure SDLC and Planview compliance across QA activities

• Represent QA in CAB meetings and contribute to cross-functional initiatives

• Ensures test data is created, and tests are executed per project timelines.

• Responsible for on time completion of QA testing for assigned projects using outside of the box planning to remain on target despite roadblocks or delays (example: using Daily QA Tracker).

• Experience coordinating / supporting a UAT effort for the business.

• Maintain the Test Case repository for use in future projects or automation

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in QA Testing and leadership experience

• Must have hands on UKG (Kronos) and SAP Successfactors testing experience

• Experience leading a QA team and conducting test scenario review sessions

• Experience with developing test scenarios and writing test cases/plans

• Strong SQL skills (write and interpret queries)

• Experience with Q-Test, Quality Center and Jira

• Ability to lead high-visibility projects with multiple integration points

• Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
