    Job Summary and Qualifications

    + Integrate imaging services modalities into the primary functions of the organization.

    + Responsible for the continuous assessment and improvement of the quality of care and services provided.

    + Conduct routine staff meetings to include patient volumes, community activities, budgetary review, problems and resolutions, goals and objectives.

    + Is accessible and responsive to physicians as well as radiologists and works positively to resolve conflict.

    + Serve as a resource for daily operational issues within the departments.

    + Establishes and administers an organized program of radiologic safety in the department.

    + Reviews departmental budgets in conjunction with Administration and is responsible for interpretation of performance variations from the assigned budget.

    + Assures that all regulatory requirements for radiation control, mammography MQSA and Radioactive Materials Licensure are met and documented.

    + Direct the management of human resources to include hiring, coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions and the interview process.

    + Ensure current status and up to date documentation/records of training, in-services, licensure, orientation, competencies and other professional developmental of individuals within the imaging sections.

    + Communicate issues, concerns, ideas, problems and other feedback to the Imaging Services Director.

    What qualifications you will need:

    + Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

    + (ARRT-R) Radiography

    + (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer

    + Bachelors Degree Required
