Schedule: Full-time | On-site | 40 hours/week

Are you ready to be at the heart of groundbreaking energy projects? We're looking for a Project Controls Specialist to help drive the success of major initiatives like our Wind Expansion Program and IPL Solar Program. If you're passionate about contract management, construction operations, and making a real impact in the renewable energy space—this is your opportunity.

What You’ll Do

+ Be the go-to expert for strategic construction agreements—administer, negotiate, and ensure compliance.

+ Partner with project teams to keep contractors aligned with contract terms.

+ Review change orders, invoices, and documentation with precision and speed.

+ Coordinate procurement and legal escalations with confidence.

+ Support contract lifecycle activities from development to post-closing.

+ Train and support users on Oracle’s Unifier system.

+ Generate custom reports to track project milestones and open items.

+ Attend weekly status meetings and visit job sites to stay close to the action.

What You Bring

+ 4-year degree and 1+ years of relevant experience.

+ Expertise in Primavera, contract administration, and RFP processes.

+ Familiarity with construction industry practices.

+ Bonus: Experience in renewable energy projects.

+ Strong communication, negotiation, and independent problem-solving skills.

Your Work Environment

+ On-site at a generation plant in Wisconsin or Iowa.

+ High-volume vendor interaction and full visibility into construction activities.

+ Supportive team culture with long-term contractors and flexible task ownership.

+ Standard hours (8–4 or 9–5), with PTO, holidays, and all IT/hardware provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr.
