We are looking for a Study Facilitator to engage in human subject research, particularly with wearable devices in an exercise setting. This role involves monitoring participants using a variety of technology products, collecting data, and ensuring proper setup and functioning of monitoring equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct research with human participants using wearable devices in an exercise setting.
+ Consent participants according to protocol and take necessary vitals and measurements such as height, weight, and EKG.
+ Ensure participants are properly set up with devices and monitoring equipment.
+ Observe participants using devices during various activities, ensuring data monitoring is functioning properly.
+ Collect data accurately through equipment and manual methods.
+ Guide participants throughout the study, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
Essential Skills
+ Background in science (Bachelor's Degree in science, exercise science, kinesiology, biology).
+ Experience in research, data entry, and protocol implementation.
+ Technically savvy to operate test devices and perform data entry.
+ Ability to direct participants through studies, with experience in patient care or people interaction.
+ Familiarity with gym equipment and knowledge of exercise.
+ Ability to stand for an entire shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in human subject research and data analysis.
+ Experience as a personal trainer is a plus.
Work Environment
The work environment includes both morning and afternoon shifts, with the option to work AM (7:30 AM - 3:00 PM) or PM (2:00 PM - 9:00 PM). Shifts are flexible, accommodating school schedules, making it an ideal opportunity for graduate students. Lunches are provided, and the dress code is casual yet presentable. The role involves being on feet for long periods, working with participants in a simulated environment, and potentially outdoors. There are opportunities to gain valuable experience in clinical research, with the potential for contract extension. Training is typically conducted during the day shift but can be adjusted for evening shifts if needed. There are 4 openings for both day and evening shifts.

This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
