    The General Manager oversees the execution of production, operations, and quality within the Manufacturing Division. This role is responsible for leading a high-performing team, driving operational efficiency, and achieving sales and margin targets set by executive leadership. Past experience in a managerial position is required.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide daily and long-term strategic direction and continuously evaluate and improve processes to align with company goals.

    + Implement initiatives that support organizational objectives.

    + Collaborate with the President to define sales and marketing strategy.

    + Maintain strong customer and supplier relationships, guiding pricing, promotions, and product positioning to meet revenue and margin goals.

    + Analyze market trends and customer data to inform strategy.

    + Build scalable structures and processes to support growth and oversee all internal operations, including sales, design, project management, manufacturing, and logistics.

    + Set performance standards and ensure operational efficiency.

    + Lead technology integration to enhance productivity and communication.

    + Develop strategic plans and budgets aligned with growth objectives, setting and monitoring sales and profitability targets.

    + Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.

    + Oversee financial reporting and budget adherence.

    + Define roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for direct reports.

    + Manage recruitment, development, and performance reviews.

    + Ensure compliance with HR regulations and maintain appropriate staffing levels.

    + Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

    + Manage physical assets, including facilities, vehicles, and equipment.

    + Set standards for quality and customer satisfaction, addressing major client concerns to ensure service excellence.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

    + Minimum of 15 years of progressive business experience.

    + Previous experience as a General Manager overseeing a business with $30M+ in revenue.

    + Demonstrated success in building and growing business relationships.

    + Proven ability to lead and manage diverse teams.

    + MBA in a related field is preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    This position is based in a professional office setting and regularly involves the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Travel to client sites is required. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and auto insurance that meets the state’s minimum bodily injury liability requirements.

    This is a Permanent position based out of New Castle, Delaware.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $115000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
